McCann brings 16 years of strength & conditioning experience as well as advanced teaching to The Future Elite Academy. McCann is currently in his third off-season as the Head of Strength & Conditioning at Westlake HS. McCann was the Head Strength & Conditioning at Thousand Oaks HS from 2010-2016 where his teams compiled a 58-30 record and an appearance in the 2015 CIF Championship.
During McCann’s 6-year tenure at TOHS his strength & conditioning program was responsible for an 88% reduction in football related injuries. Due to his injury prevention training regimens the football program was able to completely eradicate all knee ligament, hamstring & shoulder injuries from 2010-2016. McCann has also served as an Assistant Strength Coach at the University of Idaho (2008-2009) as well as the Head Strength Coach at Calabasas HS (2009) & Bishop Alemany High School (2004-2008). McCann is also a certified USAW Sports Performance Coach.
During his 16 year teaching career McCann taught the following courses; AP Human Geography, Economics, World History, American History, Government and American Literature.
Jake Woolley has been in the strength & conditioning field for 5 years and is the Director of Speed Performance for The Future Elite Academy. He previously was a sports performance coach for Sports Academy and Athletic Gaines where he was a part of two NFL and NBA combines. Clients have included Candace Parker, Todd Gurley, Trae Young, and Mario Herzonja among many other professionals across the basketball, football, and college arenas.
Jake played linebacker at College of the Canyons and Portland State University where he graduated in 4 years with a B.S. in Kinesiology. He served as the Calabasas High School S & C coach in 2018 as well as an assistant S & C coach at Portland State University. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
Bryan Bennett is a San Fernando Valley native. He attended Crespi 3 year starter and as 3 sport athlete (football, track,backetball). After Crespi, he attended University of Oregon for 3 seasons before transferring to Southeastern Louisiana. His collegiate career stats are a 21-7 record, 85 TDs, 8 212 yards. He also won 2013 all American, 2013 Louisiana player of the year, was a Walter Peyton finalist, and in Southeastern Louisiana Hall of Fame. After college he played 5 years professionally for the Indianapolis Colts, Winnipeg Bluebombers, and Saskatchewan Roughriders. He is now specializing in quarterback performance working on elite fundamentals for youth athletes.
Caitlin previously worked at Sports Academy and interned with Arizona State University’s Olympic Sports Strength and Conditioning. She received her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at ASU, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and is USAW certified.
She has worked with athletes in the NFL, NBA and WNBA, as well as youth, high school, and college athletes. Her goal is to bring more female athletes into the weight room and Sports Performance world.
Jerry previously worked at Sports Academy and has worked with athletes of all sports at the youth, high school, college and professional level.
Jerry played football at Azusa Pacific University and California Lutheran University before going onto receive his BA in Psychology and Human Development from University of Arizona and his MA in Strategic Communication from Pepperdine University. He’s a Performance Enhancement Specialist as well as a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Dashon is a 3 year High School All-American athlete. He was featured on the front page of Dicks Sporting Goods magazine in High School. He also played for the Team USA U-19 team in 2012, where his team gainst other high school athletes in numerous countries. During his time at Oregon State University, he spent 3 years as a D1 Football player, playing CB, Safety & Nickel Back. He then spent 1 year as a Defensive Backs Coach for the school. Dashon specializes in versatility, technique and schemes at all defensive back positions. He prides himself as a high energy and very informative DB coach and trainer. His priority? Turn his students weaknesses into strengths both on and off the field.
